What is the last cd you bought or track you downloaded? And would you recommend it? I have pretty diverse musical tastes so this isn't really representative of my music collection, however the last cd i bought was Beethoven's 6th (the pastoral symphony). I must admit, that this is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written and so perfect for this time of year! But then i'd highly recommend anything by Ludvig Van

I bought an 18 CD box set of German marching bands from 1932 to 1945. It makes me feel very nostalgic.

The last album I bought, of value, was "Tactile Gemma - Season of mist". "Quite quiet" is the song I can't stop listening to. Two spectacular voices! Anne-Mari & Monica Edvardsen, and the music of Rune Sorgard.

And would you recommend it? If you like "The Dreaming" side of Kate, yes, I would recomend it. It may be a bit to "Witchy" for some. ....but the chanting! I recomend it especially for the song "Quite quiet".

update to my previous post: scarlet's walk - tori amos The last one I bought was also a Tori: "Little Earthquakes". I went for the first album last. Not her best work, although "Winter", "Leather" and "Precious Things" are great! Some of the production sounds a little dated though, which makes sense for a 1992 album I guess...

No mention of Silent All These Years? I adore that track and this album generally.. I've always had a bit of a problem with that song: I do like it, but I can't quite get inside it. It was the last song she played when I went to see her live last week and it was beautiful live, so that's helped a bit. I do love the album, but I'm more of a "Pele"/"Choirgirl"/"Beekeeper" man myself
