Hey, what happened here? Are we bored with this, or did you all really get stumped on Richard Gere? Anyway, there are a few routes, but just to name a few: Richard Gere was in Intersection with Sharon Stone, who in turn was in He Said, She Said with Kevin Bacon (wait a minute, this is ironic) who was in She's Having a Baby with the song by Kate. Or.... Richard Gere was in And the Band Played On with Phil Collins, who played with Kate at the Prince's Trust. I could go on, but I'll stop know. Here's my suggestion, just to be festive, all new suggested links should be holiday related. They recorded a holiday song or appeared in a holiday movie... maybe that has to be included in the route! That will make this interesting... So, to start out, I suggest Albert Finney... and if you need the first step, just let me know! (maybe we'll drop some hints, just start "rolling the ball")

Albert Finney was in Scrooge with Roy Kinnear who was in The Three Musketeers with Oliver Reed, who starred in Castaway, and Kate wrote Be Kind to my Mistakes for that. Holiday theme? Does it have to be Xmas? I had one ready for Halloween but this thread died then. I guess I'll be festive and save that one... Okay, Bing Crosby. And the fact he is mentioned in December will be Magic Again doesn't count

That's exactly the route I had in mind! It must have been that we were both here at the same time, and I mentally transmitted the route to you! HA HA! On to Bing... I'm glad you're up to it!

That, or, quite simply, great minds think alike! Or, as I like to say, "Think like me!" ;D ;D Anyway, I guess we're on our own in here. (I guess we scared them off with the extra Christmas factor ) so here goes: Bing Crosby (obviously mentioned in "December Will Be Magic Again" so that doesn't count) sang "Little Drummer Boy/Peace On Earth" with David Bowie, which appears on the holiday CDs "Edge of Christmas" and the new "Big 80's Christmas." So there's one. The other is that Bing Crosby starred in "White Christmas" with Danny Kaye, who starred in "Hans Christian Anderson," the fabled life story of the author of "The Red Shoes," the story that inspires the film version and Kate's album of the same title. Whew! So, the next to link, and don't forget to use a holiday connection... Maureen O'Hara

Sigh. Okay... Tony Bennett sang Ill be Home for Christmas on the Jon Stewart Show. Jon Stewart was in Death to Smoochy with Edward Norton, who was in The Italian Job with Donald Sutherland. That's the best I can do, kids.
Next link--who could be more festive than PETER BILLINGSLEY (Ralphie!!!!!!!!)

I love that movie! "you'll shoot your eye out!" Darrin McGavin is hilarious in it. And I think the kid that gets his tongue stuck on the frozen flagpole, grew up to be a porn star.

I'm glad we're really keeping this going... must be the festive connection Anyway... Peter Billingsley was in A Christmas Story with Darren McGavin, who appeared in the 1989 Mini-series Around the World in 80 Days which also starred Eric Idol as Passepartout. And Eric Idol was in a episode of Saturday Night Live with Kate Bush! Next up: Alastair Sim

Alastair Sim was in A Christmas Carol which was directed by Richard Williams, who did the titles for "Casino Royale" starring Peter Sellers who was in "The Magic Christian" with Ringo Starr whom we have connected to Kate many times.
The next one is fairly easy, the Xmas special king, and In honor of his recent demise---BOB HOPE
