WOW! This is amazing.. I'm constantly suprised by the way people hear things in different ways and make mental links that are probably lost on most other folks.

If anyone would care for some live stuff (mp3s from the last couple of shows, both solo and with the band), I've uploaded some: gabakulka.com/muzyka/live.htm(mind you these are 'audience' recordings, so they sound... well... accordingly. But I will soon have some soundboard recordings as well)

Thanks.
I've been horribly tardy in this but I am definitely going to purchase all your albums before it gets to the time when I can consider them Christmas presents for myself.

Thanks. I've been horribly tardy in this but I am definitely going to purchase all your albums before it gets to the time when I can consider them Christmas presents for myself. That's great - I hope you'll like both of them. The first one is a litle more amateurish as far as sound and production goes, but I hope you like the songs. Anyway - there are two options of purchase right now - either through CDbaby or directly through the website. Thanks. :-)

Your website is very (very) nice but there was one item that gave me a cause for concern - at first I thought Out was selling for 115 dollars. This would have tested my resolve to get it. 11$ should be $11.

I now have both Miss Scylla and Out. I have yet to listen to either so while I still believe I'll enjoy the music I find the "Unknown Album" and "Track 1-15" listings that greet me to be very disappointing - there are no track titles or even an artist mention to be found as I load it on my pc.
On the plus side, CD Baby is quick with their processing of orders.

It depends on which database you're getting your info from - I believe freedb (which I always found more aimiable than cddb) should have all the info on both, or at least on Out. :-) I hope that helps.

I'm not sure I understand what you're talking about - I have the CD so what reason is there for me to look at a database? I have all the information it is just that none of it is on the CD. I haven't previously heard of either database site though just now I briefly glimpsed at freedb. I'm going to burn a new copy and enter the artist name and track titles manually - these are basic items of information - I expected them to be on the legit disc. Actually, I am disappointed when they are not to be found on bootleg discs. Well anyway, I don't mean to gripe about it - much - but unless for whatever reason(s) it is difficult for your discs to contain artist/track info I think it would be a nice thing to include.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood you - I was referring to online databases most computer media players are connected to, and so when you pop in a CD, they read from a remote database. But I assure you, the CD-text written directly on the CD, and the CDplayer.ini file contain all the song names and my name. I'm not sure why they are not accessible, and that worries me. But even if I pop in the CD on a completely unconnected computer, a Winamp or a Foobar player, they read the songtitles. Also if I turn on CDex (for ripping the CD) and have it read the CD-text or CD plyer.ini... they are there.
So... I'm worried. Does anyone else have the same problem?
And I'm sorry you're disappointed by this.

By the way, here's a short tv feature about one of the recent gigs I took part in. Hope you might enjoy it. (cut and subtitled and uploaded to youtube): www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFbl_BeSW24

I do not discount entirely the thought that something is wrong with my WMP, or that there is some conflict specific to to my player and your discs, but it does display song/album info for all my other discs. As for my disappointment - I'm guessing that after I get around to labeling, and thus actually playing the music, I won't then be disappointed. It also helps knowing that it's not a case of the info simply not being on the CD.

After a first listen to Between Miss Scylla and a Hard Place... ... are you going to tour the USA before Kate does? I enjoyed finally hearing the album with my two favorites being Coup d'Etat and Jealousy. There are a few songs (most notably Shoes and Miss Scylla herself which I consider to be too Tori-like for comfortable listening) but regardless, this is an album I will most likely regularly listen to. I would like to find an online set of lyrics - is this available? The biggest strength of the album - your singing. Do you consider your singing voice to be similar to anyone else's? haha that's a music recommendation request, basically. OK then, tomorrow it's Out.
