I just got it; even in a cowtown like Houston it's available - what do you think of that?! I'm currently listening to track 2 - Alptraum. I remember this one - wundebar!!
And next up is Lene Lovich's Lucky Number.

Oh god I haven't heard that album is sooooo long! I have it on vinyl but no turntable. I miss Hermann Heiss Herr or what is it called (I know it means Hermann was his name in English) I remember they showed the video to this song on Beavis and Butthead with hilarious reactions. (not positive ones)--hey, what do they know?

Hermann Heiss Er. What an album! Alptraum, Wau Wau, Lucky Number, African Reggae, Fall In Love Mit Mir, and more! I don't suppose you've ever heard Hazel O'Connor. Well... which one said what? Beavis is the smart one. Butthead truly is a dumb one.

I've heard Hazel O'Connor but don't really remember much. Didn't she star in "Breaking Glass" or am I thinking of someone else? I don't remember exactly what Beavis and Butthead said but they both thought she was a freak and quickly changed the channel. I'm pretty sure I have it on tape somewhere--I'll see if I can dig it up and if I can shall quote direct blow by blow what happened. You know, I once dated a guy who looked (and even acted) like a swarthy Beavis. Italian boy with dark skin and black hair but other than that-----------Beavis through and through. FIRE!! FIRE!!! (personal pun )

Yes, well my Butthead comment was also a personal pun... I mean, c'mon!!! ;D

The "Love and Anger" video played in it's entirety on Beavis and Butthead. To the segment with the dancing priests they said. "Look it's Cornholio and the twirling fartknockers" I'll try to post the link later... click

"So Bad" Great song, but I've got to disagree with Nina - I *like* diet soda!!! Diet soda's okay if you don't mind filling your brain with nasty potential seizure-causing chemicals that trick your brain into thinking you are tasting something sweet. Sorry Kevfucius, but being deathly allergic to aspartame and knowing the damage it can cause even the non-allergic, I'm going to have to side with Nina on this one. Also, it might be worthwhile to note that many products, some sodas included, in Europe still use saccharin, proven to cause cancer. Gilda Radner went to her grave believing that diet soda is what killed her. I'll get off my soapbox now. Sorry for the lecture. Nina would've given it to you much worse.

Well, I haven't heard anything bad about Splendra yet... But my allergic reactions to Nutrasweet have put me off to all artificial sweeteners. I allow myself one can of cola a day and then just drink water or cranberry juice. In fact I drink water at the same time as coke to make the coke last. In restaurants I order a "water and a coke" and go for the water most oft. "Would you like another coke ma'am?" "No thanks, but can I have some more water" Sheila fact: I have this compulsive thing where I cannot leave the restaurant table until I've drank all my water and cola, yet I never finish my meal.

The sugar substitute I use in my coffee contains saccharine. I guess I'll look at Splendra.
I ordered Nunsexmonkrock!

I had heard of it, I was sure, but I couldn't recall the songs from just looking at the titles - but now that you've mentioned it yeah I do remember this "possessed" part. ::snort:: hilarious. I also now remember the high-pitched "Cosma Shiva!" line. You know, I think of the three albums I had Nina Hagen Band Unbehagen Nunsexmonkrock that Unbehagen was my favorite. All of 'em are good though and I really don't remember much of this one at the moment anyway. I think next the Big Band album beckons... EDIT: I just got a 200 pack of Slenda packets - EXPENSIVE! 7 dollars! the easy way to check out which sweeteners contain saccharine is to look at the price - they pretty much give it away.
