Can't find too many Shriekback fans nowadays, but The Residents still have a pretty strong cult following. I was fortunate enough to see them live - best show I've ever seen (Their The King and Eye tour, AKA The Cube E tour), and I've seen song amazing shows in my day...

Shriekback was one of the first concerts I ever saw, and I got to see the Residents too. Don't remember offhand what tour it was--it could have been the King and Eye tour--but I think it was the one before that. My memory is fading. I had every single RZ cd but an ex-boyfriend took them ALL in our very nasty breakup. I only remember almost stepping in vomit after the show and then getting mistaken for a hooker. Funny the things our brain retains!

Funny, I had done a google to remember what the name of the tour was, and the Ralph Records website was one of the first hits - thus, this morning I ordered Not Available, the only "Classic Era" CD I was missing.
Also, I saw Shriekback in concert, too - and talking about funny things the brain remembers, the only thing I remember about the concert was my girlfriend at the time got angry that they played "Nemesis" twice.

That was kind of lame of them to close with the song they opened with. I remember that too. But a great song so I didn't really mind. Did the RZ tour for God In 3 Persons? I know it was after that album (hate that album btw) I saw them live but not sure how much after. Oh well. The lead singer dude is really scary in person!!

How do you know what county I live in? I don't even think about counties until there is a tornado warning.
