This is perhaps too subtle. It is grand to rage against the machine. It is perhaps more grand to find peace and bring as many as you can with you. I don't expect to find peace in politics - just entertainment and anger. The revolution will be more successful as an evolution. As communication improves people begin to reject tyranny and ignorance. Drop by drop a wave can over come the system. But how can we change a thing if we are indeed already dead? These chaps will be like all the hippies of the 60's one day - reaping the rewards of freedom in their retirement condos. It is comical coming from a source that resides where we condone and allow such outbursts. There are places that folks indeed are already dead. Bottom line, IMO, we must each find peace and justice through our own responsible intent and action. We all have a brick. We can stack them or throw them.

Some of the analogies about death here are very interesting. Kudos to you all for providing me with some really insightful reads on the topic. Personally, though, I prefer to think of death as an unknown and not dwell on it. If life is happy, why think about its end?

The unknown has some ambiguity that can cause confusion in what choices to make. If my life is happy, and it is, I would hope that my spirit can live on. So if I develop my spiritual wings I may fly to a higher realm. If I am wrong - then I will have not lost what I can't recall.

I think your opinions are valid. Better out than in as they say. I will not lose in this life what I don't worry about. Death may be an end or a start, but I'm not going to worry about what will happen to me or spend time preaching about burning in hell for one's sins. (I did once. ) I'm just going to make the most of this life.

(I did once. ) I'm just going to make the most of this life. Which is also a wise view on this. I ponder things like mortality and death because it makes me feel like I can live better, really. But it shouldn't be a source of worry. And there is so much value in just celebrating life.

For the record.
I am posting a specific conclusion that I wish to reverse engineer and prove. This fall I am going back to university for post graduate studies. In case others embark on similar endeavors I would like to state my conclusions now:
That:
Chemo-nuclear wave energy is the fuel for creation, universal evolution, decay and recreation, that is, has been and forever will be, a by product of the nuclear fusion and fission of collective consciousness.
It exists in three forms:
1. Universal - that all species can understand and access readily - gravity, magnetic and other force field energy, light, sound, taste etc. and that all living and non living matter is subject to influence by and from.
2. Esoteric - that can be accessed through development of the spiritual awareness and intent.
3. Proprietary - that is connected to the genetic code of each species. It is accessible for evolutionary signals and continuation of species.
This energy utilizes sub atomic particles to transmit through an 'Ethernet' of negatively charge particles that essentially are connectors that perform myriads of functions in both creative and destructive force. It is shared, modified, enhanced and/or subdued by the individual and collective consciousness of living beings, their spiritual archive and presence and the tenants and influence of iconography.
I will use this thread as a major portion of my dissertation. Who knows - I could be right - and I truly believe that I am..
Philosophy, Chemistry and Physics will be the main course load; as I wish to find a link between consciousness and creation - that science and spirituality co exist.
I have to believe that to think on a grand scale is an obligation. It is also only as daunting as our inhibitions and fears make it appear. I have someone that I care about deeply that reinforces this notion in me. No excuses...

This is off the subject obviously - whatever that is actually, is; so I'll stop with this message. It just happened I was listening to the song while reading these mentions of death... This is perhaps too subtle. Yes, apparently so. Really? It is rare to find someone who lives up to their ideals, isn't it?They started in '78 - and have yet to stay in those retirement condos you mention. Here's a short bio of the band that is found on the page you visited: If you don't know Crass, you don't know punk. The Sex Pistols and The Clash sold their souls to big record labels, but Crass always stayed true to their anti-corporate ideals. And guess what, Crass is still around. They live in a commune just outside of London named 'Dial House'- a safe haven for those individuals of principle who still live by the old punk slogan 'Do it yourself'. Filmmaker Alexander Oey made a filmic portrait about this last Punk stronghold called 'Crass: There's No Authority but Yourself'.And as the song alludes to - they're pacifists. We all have paintbrushes. We can paint in fine lines or broad strokes. haha I apologize for that. I couldn't help it. EDIT: but thanks for listening. "Man cannot stand a meaningless life" -Carl Jungthat's what the song is about.

In case others embark on similar endeavors I would like to state my conclusions now: That is so exciting. I wish you the best of luck with that, Hank. And I really do believe that these ideas have so much promise. This is a good groundwork to start a quest towards proof upon. It clarifies the central ideas discussed here very well. I feel the same need to say that big thoughts and ambitious ponderings are the sort of debt we have to pay for being here. That's really the way I feel about my poetry, and this certainly seems to be that kind of work for you. And I hope we all can help each other on the difficult journey towards this lofty goal. I have faith that it will be reached, in time.

^ Or maybe I'll just take up tennis. Thanks Rosa. I am in no hurry. Education for self improvement and gratification is so much more enjoyable than a 4-8 year mission to get a career going.

Yes... and I think that when education is pursued because of interest rather than necessity, it can lead to a much deeper and more comprehensive knowledge. Still, it is kind of exciting. BTW, looks like this is my thousandth post! Gosh I never thought I'd get here so quickly. ;D
