Why do we have so many readers that do not post? My challenge is that if you read and appreciate any of the posts here, then RESPOND!I'll commit to continue my efforts, but only if you guys will help keep the threads going. There are some great topics here that are getting buried. Dig them up! Thanks, I'll wait for your answer.

I'm here, Al I know I was quiet for a while there, but I'm still here. And happy 10 th anniversary of The Red Shoes! It has officially been 10 YEARS since a new Kate record! No wonder this board is dying

I can understand your frustration Al. We've discussed this before. You know that I have had my hands full for the last week, but I will certainly try to contribute here. But we need at least some of the regulars here, once in a while. I'm glad to see you back, Sheila. Now, where's everyone else? Maybe we have reached the "Expiration Kate": After 10 years, everyone has really lost interest in what she has to say and create. If that's what she wanted 10 years ago, looks like it's happening - not much activity on any other Kate sites either, and hasn't been in a long time. I mean, eventually people do move on to other interests, right? I'd like to continue here, but it really can't go on a just a spot for Kate Bush trivia. There were some interesting topics going on here... Kate Bush having been the driving force of what brought us together... but there was so much more potential. Come on everyone. We're giving her all we've got and she's barely holdin' together

Thanks Sheila and Zan. I really don't want this board to die. The goodbye was not meant to be dramatic. It's just that I don't want to beat a dead horse.
Zan has been in the midst of those terrible fires around San Diego. That takes precedence over this board for sure. Sheila, I know you have some other projexts going on. But Zan is right, we need some ongoing dialogue.
This has been the most insightful and comprehensive active Kate Bush forum But if no one can find us, we'll just have to keep the group small. Even then, the regulars have to keep some threads going.

Altruest, there is no doubt you have been the driving force of this board. Without you it would never have got off the ground. Yes, Lori's site is fantastic, yet you have shaped the topics and discussions here.
Perhaps if there were something new to exite us we would be more active. Maybe if I share some of my book here it could stir you up. Now I know you probably see me as an hopeless dreamer, a quick scan of my posts will bear out that point of view. Yet when you are able to grasp the full implications of the story, perhaps you will undertand why things are unfolding as they are.
If you have any objections to me sharing the main points of the story, please make them here. If on the other hand you have left the domain, then I see no reason why this cannot be the first public forum (Albeit miniscule) for a book that could change the way Kate is perceived and provide the impetuous for launching the new Album.
I'm going to wait until the weekend, if there are no objections, then I will proceed.

Thanks NEO. I would love to here more about your book. BTW I am currently reading the "Elegant Universe" (Greene). If you'd like, I'll post some of my thoughts on unified theory's. Or how's this, "String Theorists" maintain that there are at least 10 dimensions. I have my own thoughts that I'll post later on the 'Other Topics ' board.

I agree that we need some new blood here. To summon the help of the regulars, Lori, I would like to see at least 2 more moderators. Sto has his hands full. He keeps his board going nonetheless. I think Zan should be moderator on the "Deeper Understanding" board. Secondly, I believe NEO, should be indulged in a fantasy board called "Dreamtime" whereas, he can share some of the excerpts from his book, or just be as far out as he wants. (I'll reel him in now and again ) The way this board has unfolding, I believe requires the commitment of more input. We are not a superficial group. If we are to survive as an alternative to the "What emotion are you today" boards then we need creative and articulate leaders here. Meanwhile MM (and NEO) look for my post on the 'other topics' board regarding my views on string theory and the ultimate root of all reality. You see, I don't think that physicists or mathemeticians will ever be able to crack the riddle of unified theory alone. It is my opinion that artists and philosophers should be at the forefront of directing the research. (see other board)>>>>

Hey Guys! I'm so sorry about my lack of posts around here. And AT! I hope you don't feel as I've just taken you for granted and let you keep this board going. I agree with everything NewOne has said, however I don't want you to feel that you have to do it. If it feels to you more like a chore (crikey is that how you spell it : then please stop. It's supposed to be fun here and not by any means ever feel like 'work'. May I finally add (just so you all know) that I do often avoid posting under many topics, as I don't feel I have nearly half the knowledge you guys do and really don't understand what you's are saying, likewise when you discuss books/bandss/musicians I've never heard of or know nothing about. Please don't think I'm just being ignorant. Thanks again though AT

Dear Lori, I don't ever feel taken for granted- I just like a lot of discussions going on. There are enough topics going on here for everyone. Don't ever feel obligated to join in where your not interested. But I hope all that read from here would post what they do want to talk about. I throw a lot against the wall to see what will stick. So there is something for everyone here, if you'll just take advantage of it.
