Hi all,
I just read on another forum that Kate is listed as number one in the top ten musical eccentrics in a magazine called Sunday's Observer Music Monthly? Anyone know this mag? Apparently there's a picture there as well of Kate in the glittery catsuit from The Man With The Child in His Eyes, and here's the blurb:
Number one because she bought her huge brand of rural gothic eccentricity to the very heart of the mainstream. In deepest plumstaed she spent her teenage years running the Incredible String Band fan club, then studied mime under Lindsay Kemp, the man who gave Bowie similar ideas about the poetic power of prancing about. To this end, La Bush even made leggings and spangly catsuits almost trendy for a brief instant. Her first moment remains her finest: "Wuthering Heights", Emily Bronte's gothic novel rendered as a three-minute pop song. She later did the same for Moly Bloom's soliloquy from James Joyce's "Ulysees" on "The Sensual World". Now a pop recluse without being an acid casualty, rumours persist that she's working on an album, the first since 1993. A major influence on inspired llons like Bjork, Tricky, even Tori Amos. Altogether now: "Heathcliff, it's me, your Cathy, I'm come home, so cold, let me in-a-your window..."
I especially like this bit: Now a pop recluse without being an acid casualty ;D and of course any mention of the new album bolsters my conviction that it's in the works... it's coming
Hadn't seen it on this forum yet, thought I'd share.

I have not seen this, but I would love to. After searching online, I was unable to find it posted anywhere yet. If you have a link, please share it. Otherwise tell us the other nine. Kate should wear this as a badge of honor.
