I've only ever heard the remaster of the "Hounds Of Love" album and not the original. Is there a real difference between the sound quality? Or would it have been just as good to release the original on CD without the remastering?

I couldn't tell you, as I've only heard the remaster, but it would be interesting to know... anyone?

I have them both and I never really noticed a big, huge difference. Then again, I have an old crappy stereo system so I'm not the best person to ask.

I did buy the remaster after having the original CD after having the cassette and I do feel that there is more depth and clarity to the songs on the remaster. I also feel that the volume quality is better on the remaster plus you get al the bonus tracks of course. ;D
