As all you regular posters know, I have many dreams about Kate. Some when I'm sleeping and some I imagine whilst thinking about the future possibilities for this highly talented woman.
Now, I do realize these are just dreams, many of which Kate would probably cringe at the thought of doing them for real. Yet they are fun to imagine, with enough visualization, they can be almost here and now. Who knows, if Kate reads it she may be inspired to act on some of our ideas.
So I ask you now, imagine something Kate does in the future, it could be a tour, it could be a film or television role, or perhaps a step into politics. You decide, dream it up and post your dream at this time. Who knows, you could be right!

This is an interesting thread NEO. And it's a good idea to have a certain place for these dreams. I agree that I have even dreamt about Kate Bush, and at least for me, I am not disturbed by that. I dream about people I met at the grocery store too! When a person is regularly exposed to another person or an idea, as many of us are with her music and other interests, it's only natural that it would manifest itself in our subconscious. And it is fun to play out certain scenarios in your head! Even share them with others! H*ll, I even dream about people I haven't thought about or heard from in years, and then I'll see them! But, I feel for our sake and her sake, let's limit the fantasies to lighthearted dreams and future predictions. We don't want to be disturbed by another's fantasies, and I'm sure if Kate were ever to pop by, she wouldn't either. This is simply a guideline, mostly for newbies and guests, to censor what would be posted here. I believe most of the regulars have only the utmost respect for Kate Bush, and this topic is only for the sharing of creative hypothetical situations, and to maybe share in the wonderful possibilities of her future! ;D Does everyone agree? I have some things I wish she'd consider in the future as well. I'll have to work on them for you, NEO!

A most sensible post Xan, you certainly have what I had in mind. Not dark and seedy ideas, but bright and positive dreams, the kind you would wish for anyone you love. Kate is a beautiful person in so many ways, even without meeting her you can pick up through the many accounts of her on the web and listening to her songs, she has a love of creativity particularly music. So dreaming of her performing again seems perfectly natural to those of us who love her. Who is going to be first to post their dream of Kate, it can be very interesting.

I'll jump in here, test the water, or so to say... Just a small one to start, but Kate had mentioned in an interview back after HOL, that she really enjoyed collaborating with Peter Gabriel. The interviewer asked if there was anyone else she would like to work with, and she said she'd love to work with Bryan Ferry. Well this started my imagination immediately... I saw this interview before his recent release "Frantic" and I couldn't help but dream about what an entire collaborative album would sound like with both of them. When his album came out, I could almost hear her vocals interwoven with his on songs like "Hiroshima" and "San Simeon" and "Goddess of Love." It had been a long time since any new material had been released from Ferry (does this sound familiar! ) and I thought a new collaboration would have gotten both their creative juices flowing! Well, in the end, she didn't sing on his new album. But, if they are both recording again, Ferry is touring again (and Gabriel for that matter) anything is possible. And if anyone's out there is reading this (from the record labels or someone who knows them), someone has to get these two in touch with one another! I'm waiting...

Well maybe you guys don't believe in the dreams I have for Kate. Maybe you don't believe she is going to tour again and maybe no more albums. This thread is to indulge in a fantasy of these things happening. I want you to visualize it and describe it. Don't you think it is fun to see her on the stage again? Try and imagine new songs. Am I the only one who can do this? Perhaps I should be with her now!
Have a go please!

Perhaps I should be with her now! What do you mean? How would you be afforded that wish? .....You're not forgetting to follow your breadcrumbs again now, are you?

I've dug this post up from August as I'm still interested if any of you members have dreams of Kate either while you are sleeping or as fantasies.
If you re-read this topic you'll see I mean positive visions or strange dreams during sleep which may or may not have significance.
Please dig them up from your memory as this is the area that fascinates me the most.

Sometimes I dream about Kate, but I only vividly remember one. It's a bit insignificant, but I'll give it a go. I was driving in my car and "the new Kate song" came on the radio. It was a beautiful song called "The Blush". Well, that's it. But what is cool about that dream is I HEARD THE SONG! So if I take the song as my own, even though it was a Kate song in my dream, am I cheating? Some of the best songs I've ever written have been in my sleep. I don't know if that's good or bad. If Kate really does do a song called The Blush I'll freak!
As far as waking dreams, I would like to see Kate write and direct a feature film, but then we'd NEVER get an album from her!

That's great Sheila! "The Blush" sounds very Kate-like. Also what she is very likely to do. Within our subconscious anything is possible, some of the world's best ideas appear during the hours of slumber. Maybe "The Blush" occurs when you first meet. As for Kate writing and directing a feature film, she has indicated in a recent interview (well, for The Red Shoes) that she would like a more involved role in the creation of a film rather than acting in it. Maybe a cameo role like ones her hero Alfred Hitchcock makes. Perhaps the time will come............
