Lori (BTW this makes an even 100 topics on this board) Why don't you e-mail EMI and ask if they will let you announce the release date of the new project! Reference the link that lists you as the "Top Kate Bush Message Board" What better place to announce the date. Actually here and your Website would be the place. But give it a go. What's the worst that could happen? But wouldn't it be great if they came through! Even a one day jump would be great. What do you think?

Is anybody with me on this? Lori, maybe they would just e-mail you as soon as the press release comes out. But a one day jump exclusive would be awesome.

It's a great idea, but do you really think they'd listen? We'd probably just get a standard reply back like "Thank you for your email. Kate Bush is currently working hard on her new album but there is no release date as yet." Then again, you might get a definite date from them, at some stage anyway!

Like I said though, what's the worst that could happen. It's worth a shot .

In my experience EMI are very straight laced. Much like the people at the English Football Association, for whom I worked at one time, very set in "The way it has always been done." They stick to the tried and tested.
However, I agree it is worth a shot. With the new CEO, who is a personal friend of Kate's, you never know!
