In case you guys didn't know I'm currently at college taking a National Diploma in dance. I've been having problems with my knee since September and it's been so bad lately that I haven't been able to dance. I had a courtozone injection in it 2 weeks ago which didn't help. Anyway, I went to see a specialist yesterday who was REALLY nasty!!! Anyway, he put me in for a scan and the bloomin' queue is 10 months!!! How on earth can I complete my dance course if I can't dance?!?!

LORI,
I was not aware of that goal of yours. Top Drawer!
Your injury is not a positive development, but I can give you cold comfort with the knowledge that a friend of mine whom I have known for 20 years, & who is currently working on BROADWAYTM tells me that such things are common, & that the afflicted people come back to Dance, or continue to do do during their convalescence.
I could not continue to work as a Stuntman, however, as limping tends not to inspire confidence in Producers' & Directors' minds!

Lori, I`ll back up Malcolm here, having been a pro footballer, I suffered my fair share of injuries that I managed to bounce back from. It may seem like you`re never going to dance again, in the words of George Michael`s song, "You gotta have faith" If you really want to do something, nothing will stop you. You love dancing don`t you? Then believe, and like Malcolm`s friend, you will be performing, ok? ;D
