It's really lovely to see these still up, and see which songs this board particularly liked (albeit 8 years ago!)

And the grass has to be cut (like spam being posted as late as today) But Kate's music still inspires. And perhaps Bertie will continue the Bush tradition. His voice on 50 Words for Snow shows much promise.

Yes, it has been slow here. And the grass has to be cut (like spam being posted as late as today) But Kate's music still inspires. And perhaps Bertie will continue the Bush tradition. His voice on 50 Words for Snow shows much promise. Is it you who cuts the grass Al? It's lovely that you've stuck around, ever the true altruist! I would love to be the proud owner of a Bertie Macintosh CD (or more likely MP3 collection) in a few years' time. His voice is indeed lovely, and has some of that lush soaring tenderness of Kate's. It was heart-warming to read her say in an interview last year that Bertie had heard her back catalogue and loved it. She said that this was 'lucky', a typically self-effacing comment - it was 'lucky' he liked the music, rather than the music being inherently good! Having said that, Kate certainly has a few albums left in her, so Bertie won't need to take the baton quite yet!
