This week I'm voting off:
Rubberband Girl See last week for my comments!
Moments Of Pleasure It's a beautiful song, just ask Toyah Wilcox (that spelling looks wrong?) but the other 3 are too precious to let go off at this crucial stage! This song has a fantastic atmosphere and the instrumental shows just how beautiful the arrangement is. The ode at the end to those who've passed on during Kate's fame is very touching, although it isn't depressing as Kate sounds like she's remembering all the fond memoriesbetween them (hence the song's title).

*The Song of Solomon* *Lily*
My favourite is among the other three, two of which I play more than the above. As ever, I still love 'em though. Kate's voice, Mmmm yes.................................

"Lily" and "And So is Love" See past posts for reasons. I can't believe I'm not the first one to vote off Moments of Pleasure!!! I'm assuming this song is gonna win, but I've been afraid to touch it even though It's not my favorite...

Alright, I wasn't going to vote this week either... it's just to painful. But since I'm beginning to take the campaign against "And So Is Love" personally - I have to vote. So here it goes, mostly just to save my favorites: Moments of Pleasure: I do adore this song, but sometimes it is too sad at the time I'm listening, so I skip it. The part where she says "And I can hear my mother saying..." chokes me nearly every time, "Hey there Bill, Could you turn the lights up?" and lastly "Just being alive, it can really hurt" is said again in the very end of "Constellation of the Heart" if you listen closely. Perhaps the theme of the album? The Song of Solomon: The only problem I have ever had with this song is that it took me a while to get accustomed to the line "Don't want your bull*sh*it..." I thought it was a little obvious and harsh for Kate, but I like it now. My favorite line and vocal delivery is the first time she says "And I'll do it for you..." with such yearning. (The hoops we have to jump through for the censors )

Song of Solomen I too thought the b*llsh*t was uncharacteristically awkward. Mainly, though, I just prefer the remaining tracks. Rubberband Girl Only because it it's a bit too bouncy. I guess I prefer Kate to be more intricate with her metaphors. That being said, it's still a good song. I hope I didn't miss the deadline.
