I was 7 when "wuthering Heights"came out and I loved it immediately. In September on my 8th birthday I bought the album. My brother was terrified of it. He would run out of the room when I played it and called Kate a witch, which made me lover her only more, of course. I bought all the other albums as soon as they came out. The dreaming scared me and for the first year I only listened to "there goes a tenner"and "suspended in Gaffa" that wasn't good for the record and I had to buy it again. I than listened to the entire album and now its my favorite album (well it was until Aerial, at least)

People are so much more perceptive when they're children Too bad that when they are old enough to realize that, they have lost so much of that perception. Most even come to the conclusion that their original perception was ridiculous. I think that is what bonds us as Kate fans--she can hang on to that childlike perception, as we try to do. Now if you will excuse me I have to prepare for the Easter Bunny's arrival. (just a joke kids! I do understand the difference between open minded childlike perception and the downright lies our parents told us to kill said perception and perhaps possibility for new ideas, concepts, and inventions.)
