A while ago (dont remember when) but my parents got into Kate Bush and bought The Whole Story, and The Dreaming. My mom popped in The Whole Story one day and I really like Wuthering Heights. Im not a diehard fan YET, but its getting there!

That's interesting... were your parents interested in her when she started, or was this just the first recording they bought? I'm assuming that you live with them... so what do they think of your new interest in Kate?

I'm assuming that you live with them... so what do they think of your new interest in Kate? I'm not the one you asked, and maybe I shouldn't jump in here. But I was living at home with my parents when I discovered (or *re*-discovered) Kate at age 28 in 1985. My mother didn't like it at all. In fact she was downright hostile. She called it "the devil's music," and would have broken my copy of _Hounds of Love_if I hadn't physically blocked her path to the record player. I've lived by myself since 1989, but I haven't had a turntable to play my old records on since the early Nineties, and I don't have a CD player either. Expy
