I'm already a member in a German forum. Nobody there could answer my really urgent question (-->Videos) so now I'm here. I love Kate's music since the early eighties, especially because of her many references to classical literature. That explains "Brontë"

Where is the German forum? I'm learning German (to be optimistic about it) and looking at a German Kate forum could be fun.
Oh, and hello!

Have you read the book of Wuthering Heights?
Well, actually I just looked at your username and I realise now that's a stupid question (lol)...
Have you been to Haworth in Yorkshire? I went about two weeks ago and I loved it!

Hello kevan, hello mizzshy, thank you for your welcome :-) So this is the German forum, you can read some of the boards without being registered: www.carookee.com/forum/Kate-BushNo, I've unfortunately never been to Haworth yet, but longing for that. I like that illustrated book by Paul Barker & James Birdsall "The World of the Brontes " very much, it's a very impressive scenery.

And I have done so. It is an interesting site - what little I can make of it anyway. I did notice a Sarah Slean topic - I was tempted to register to say "Sarah ist zehr gut!" but then figured that it really wouldn't be all that informative and not all that urgent either - I'll wait, and If I ever progress in my studies I'll try to post a message or two.

I recommend Dark Quartet by Lynne Reid Banks; it's about the life of the Bronte sisters (Charlotte, Emily and Anne) and their brother Branwell. It's excellent.
