I was doing some reading on The Red Shoes the other day, and I read that Eat The Music was released as the lead single from TRS in America, while the rest of the world got Rubberband Girl. My question, why is there a "US Version" on the music video then?

Rubberband Girl was released as a single in the US - it reached #80 in the Billboard Hot 100 - one of Kate's better efforts over there. You are correct that Eat The Music was also released as a single in the US (and I think only in the US) and it may well have been released first. However Eat the Music didn't do as well - it failed to make the Top 100.

Thank you for clarifying. It appears Eat The Music and Rubberband Girl were released with a day of each other in America.
