I just wished to say greetings from the USA and hope you are all well! I first learned of this great site a few months back when it was mentioned to me by Adey in a posting on the Fender Forum page.
I'm a pretty busy person these days due to work, school and fatherhood, but I've finally gotten around to visiting after getting on a major KB kick over the last few days.
I think Kate is such a special artist and I'm very thankful she is putting out new material again. I'm hoping that we'll be hearing a lot more music from her over the next few years. Thanks for reading and letting me be a part of the group!

Yes, with 2 albums last year Kate was positively frenzied !! Hope you've had a chance to check them out. This Forum is a quiet place these days, but a few of us still look in. So if you need to know anything at all about Kate Bush, ask and we will try and help. Looks like you're already a fan though.. Welcome..

Welcome.. Yes, I've since had a chance to check the new albums out. I enjoyed them both, particularly '50 Words for Snow." It's a wonderfully relaxed, atmospheric album that's provided a fitting soundtrack to this latest Western New York winter. It's true I've been a Kate Bush fan for a long time. I was actually introduced to her via my mom, who had a taped copy of 'Hounds of Love' back when I was a kid. I didn't know what to think of her at first, but it wasn't long before her voice and her unique approach songwriting drew me in. I had been away from Kate's music for a while, but the new albums sort of led me to re-discover her catalogue. I'm happy to say my three-year-old daughter apparently loves her as well (she was in the middle of an intense session with her coloring book when 'Hammer Horror' came on the stereo -- she dropped everything she was doing and ran over to the speakers, transfixed!). Thanks for the kind welcome -- I look forward to checking in again and perhaps re-igniting some more discussion...

You chose 2 ambitious classics and succeeded remarkably. Well done.

Great job Silvia.
Hello Earth is one of my definitive Kate songs, so I approached your version with caution! I shouldn't have been concerned - your performance immediately raised the short hairs on the back of my neck. A little wilder maybe, and some desparation in your voice that really suits the sentiment of the song.
Respect to you. I could listen to you singing Kate songs all night, with just enough of yourself in the performances to make it worthwhile. Lovely job. Good luck with your talents and your application of them..

Silvia, you have a beautiful voice and did a great job on both songs. I checked out some of your other videos as well and thought they were all well done. If you ever perform in the US I'd love to check out the show...
