I so love Kate's creativity, like love itself, fluid, solid, ethereal and nothing at all...Genius itself... bring on the beauty...

Looks official. November 18? I'll mark that down.
I think it's a new studio album. Del Palmer's been dropping a few hints lately.

Sean Twomey, on his always excellent Kate Bush News & Information site, counsels caution before we all get too excited. There is as yet, nothing 'official'. And if there were, I don't doubt that he would know.
Personally, I don't believe a word of it..
On the same site was a nice surprise - Will Young's lovely live recording of his version of Running Up That Hill. I'm not a fan of Mr Young, but can tell you this is well worth checking out..

I knew Del wasn't just pulling our legs!
What I was about to say (just prior to this official announcement) was that an official announcement would have to made in the next few days...

Hi there Al - good to see you..I'm still in a mild state of shock over the whole thing You wait 12 or so years for Aerial, then a bunch more for The Director's Cut, and then discover that there will be 2 albums this year.. We haven't had 2 KB albums in a year since TKI and LH - Unheard of! If you're trying to make sense of KB's schedule, then truly all bets are off. As has been suggested here already, that must have been an astonishing creative peak she had recently. But it also suggests that maybe KB is becoming much more relaxed or comfortable with her music making. Maybe a new sense of pragmatism is a factor.. Whatever, I'm not going to look this particular gift horse in the mouth
