I've done it again. I read the Daily godawful Mail and Kate's name appeared! www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1164153/Dont-look-miserable-Charles--youre-egg-diet-more.htmlI don't actually believe it (as I don't anything the DM reports) but this is what they say about Charles Saatchi's new reality tv art programme: "A panel of judges including Tracey Emin and Kate Bush, head of art galleries at the Barbican, will choose 50 competitors, and Saatchi will whittle it down to a shortlist of six." I just don't see her getting involved - why would she want to?

Barbican curator Kate Bush with Tate Modern curator Frances Morris."A panel of judges including Tracey Emin and Kate Bush, head of art galleries at the Barbican, will choose 50 competitors, and Saatchi will whittle it down to a shortlist of six." I just don't see her getting involved - why would she want to? Hello Amy. No, I don't see her getting involved either! ;D But this Kate Bush is not Our Kate, but the head of art galleries at the Barbican! I guess she's often confused with KT.“What’s distinctive about the Gallery is the mix: our fluidity across art and design, photography and architecture. We are not a museum, or a custodian of history - but a space which celebrates the present, refracted through an understanding of the past.” Kate Bush, Head of Art Galleries
Kate Bush, Head of Barbican Art Galleries, said: “Not only is it an exceptional opportunity for visitors to experience the many facets of an incredible polymath, but it has a fantastic resonance with the Barbican itself. “Le Corbusier was the guiding spirit for the Centre's architects, inspired by his utopian vision as well as later buildings such as Maisons Jaoul, and Unité d'Habitation." She added: “We've devised a dynamic programme of music and events which will thrill audiences, whilst fully exploring Le Corbusier's legacy in the new century.”
Kate Bush, the head of the Barbican Art Gallery, said it was not an attempt to use sex to lure visitors. "It is an incredibly important and ambitious exhibition," she said. "It is 2,000 years of world art history. Nobody has ever tried to cover sexual experience through the eyes of great artists in one show before. It has huge amounts of scholarship and learning behind it, but is filled with spectacular works of art."

There is a woman called Kate Bush who is in charge of the art galleries at the Barbican. (EDIT: Ah, I see Tannis was posting while I was typing) --Paul--
