I haven't been on here for a while - sorry!
But thought I'd come to have a look at my one and only post - only to find that no one else has added anything to it since my last visit. Maybe it's just me - but I dream of another Kate Bush CD compilation (of course another studio release would be better) - and often think: what it would look like, format, tracklisting, gatefold etc etc etc - obviously other people don't share this passion!?
You would be surprised how passionate we all would be about such an occurrence. But an ardent Kate fan is surely never satisfied. We all know how deliberate she is. She does not seek, it would seem, fame or riches. Her focus is on being happy with her current role as mother and artist. She is more into creation than
re-creation. I wish someone nonetheless would convince her to re-master and re-format her catalog. There is a new Vinyl release forthcoming.
*But past that there are only a few leaks about her future studio album.
**...That is unless her collaboration is for another artist. She is not inclined to speak it seems. And I have never known her to respond to any of her fans on any message board. I doubt that she reads any of the forums...
Post away...
My favorites aren't hits. But my top 18 (at present) would be:
1. Night of The Swallow
2. Sunset (which she would never take out of the context of "Sky of Honey")
3. Pull out the Pin
4. There Goes a Tenner
5. Suspended in Gaffa
6. Dream of Sheep
7. Running Up That Hill (already used on 3 other projects)
8. This Woman's Work (already covered and used in a movie)
9. Rocket's Tail
10.Houdini
11.Get Out of My House
12.Mother Stands for Comfort
13.Waking the Witch
14.Sensual World
15.Why Should I Love You
16.Wuthering Heights (new vocal)
17.Love and Anger
18.Breathing
These are my current favorites mixed in with examples of her wonderful eccentricty and vocal prowess. i.e., most of her 'screaming banshee' performances.

WENNRolf Harris has revealed that Kate Bush has recorded an as-yet unreleased duet with him.
The Australian played didgeridoo on Bush's 1982 single 'The Dreaming' and featured again on her 2005 comeback album Aerial.
Harris told Metro: "We've done another recording together. I did her a favour by playing on her album and she did me a favour by recording with me.
"It's a version of 'She Moves Through The Fair'; a traditional Irish song, and she sings the female vocals in the thing. It's bloody marvellous, the best thing I've done."
He added: "I'm sure Kate Bush fans will be interested. I'm not sure how to release it. I'm not au fait with downloading. I had all my success with George Martin in the 1960s, so I'm used to people buying records in shops."
The painter/singer also described the experience of playing Glastonbury as "the highlight of my entertainment career".
"Singing in front of 70,0000 who know all the words to the songs is amazing," Harris added.
