Hello and welcome, Hope! Thank you for your opening post and thank you for joining this forum. It really is a friendly place. Cloudbusting is a great song, and Kate's work sheds light, sheds tears, and is both warm and soothing. "All of us tend to live in our heads. In 'Cloudbusting,' the idea was of starting this song with a person waking up from this dream, 'I wake up crying.' It's like setting a scene that immediately suggests to you that this person is no longer with someone they dearly love," she said. "It puts a pungent note on the song. Life is a loss, isn't it? It's learning to cope with loss. I think in a lot of ways, that's what all of us have to cope with." Valley Herald, Nov. 17 1989gaffa.org/reaching/i89_ap.html

Hi! Welcome Hope. Make yourself at home. Kate Bush has changed my life as well on more than one occasion. Take a look around and tell us what you think.

Thanks tannis and Al Truest. Tannis, I really appreciate the quote. And Al Truest, I have looked around alot and really like what I see. You don't have to call me Al Truest. If you'll be my bodyguard, I can be your long lost pal. I can call you Betty and Betty when you call me you can call me Al. Call me Al.

Bodyguard...hmm...do you need one? I could use a long lost pal. Okay Al -- but please don't call me Betty Well (you probably know) it was from Paul Simon's "Call me Al" And I truly hope I don't need a bodyguard. ;D
