Hello, from Brisbane Australia... How did I come to love Kate Bush? When I was eight or nine, I was watching the Kenny Everett show at my Grandparents house - he had a list of questions, she had a list of answers which didn't match and I was completely enthralled. Years later, we found the interview on Youtube and I was amazed at how much I had remembered word-for-word. I was also given a copy of The Kick Inside, which had belonged to an uncle who had passed away (then in his 30's) who had apparently been a huge fan. It is my all-time favourite album as much for the nostalgia attached to it as for my love of Wuthering Heights, flowing dresses and my passion for Bronte literature that was spurred on by wanting to read about Heathcliffe and Cathy.

My parents played TKI all the time when I was a tiny little 3-year old speck, and I inherited my Kate love from them, later digging out old vinyls of HOL and The Dreaming and playing them over and over... Ah, good times. Anyhow, welcome!

Greetings, theearnshaws. It seems like we Aussies are being especially drawn towards Kate at this time Of course, I've just relocated away from Sydney, but don't think for a minute that it will make me even the slightest bit less Aussie! ;D I remember Kate on the Kenny Everett show (and yes I rediscovered it on YouTube recently too). I must have been about 13 at the time... --Paul--
