I don't particularly like the song, I don't know why, did a while back, but I changed. However, I do really like the picture. There's something about the helplessness of the woman/witch that I never really got from the song.

I actually like the song more and more as I listen. The percussion elements alone keep me intrigued. It is unlike any other song, as are many of Kate's efforts. The bells and chanting are mesmerizing. She creates an atmosphere that is both archaic and modern. Fear and ignorance can be terrifying and is reflected in the mood of this piece.

I really like the song, really sounds like being dragged back to consciousness.
As a side note, the chimes in the "Red Red Roses" part sound like the same chimes used in the intro of The Sensual World. Anyone notice this?

I love this song. And in the painting, I like the silhouettes of people in the red bits in the background. (Am I making any sense here?)
