I've only just really discovered KT Tunstall and which tracks she has but... WOW!!! Hi Lori! After reading your post, I checked out KT Tunstall on iTunes: WOW indeed!! I downloaded the radio version of 'Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" Great voice. The only other song they had listed was on the Smallville, Vol. 2: Metropolis Mix soundtrack. I checked out the sample and it was very different than BHATCT; which one is true to her style? (I like them both!)

I downloaded the radio version of 'Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" Great voice. Anyone seen her do it live or on the TV? Amazing.. She builds it up part by part using a digital loop pedal. First the 2 drum parts, using the body of her acoustic guitar, then a simple riff. Then a backing vocal motif ( "Whoo - hoo") and a harmony of the same. When it's all playing, she turns off the record function and strikes up the acoustic strum and starts to sing.. It's f*cking incredible!

I saw her getting interviewed on TV last week and then she performed 'Suddenly I See' and 'Under the Weather' an I was totally blown away. Then after doing some digging, I realised she sang 'Other Side of the World' which is an amazing song too. Just bought Eye To The Telescope so will be checking that out soon

I love KT- her album is great. My favourite songs are Another Place To Fall, Heal Over and Other Side Of The World. I also went a bit crazy one day and got all her singles. She also likes Kate!

Yes, when she got her Brit for Best British Female (ahead of Kate, btw), she said:
"I'm going to give the head of this [the statue] to Kate Bush because she has such a huge musical brain, I think she needs some extra room to keep it in..."
Or something like that...

Or something like that... Yep- that's exactly what she said. I loved her performance of Suddenly I See, when she played the guitar, and then near the end started playing the drum. Her pants were awesome, too!
