Mexican Radio! Wall of Voodoo!
OK Sheila.....keep your shirt on....
Stan Ridgaway and I are e-mail buddies! I saw him twice this year. He actually talks to his fans on his website.
He hangs around after shows and chats with folks who hang around. This year my date and I sat with him and the gang at the lounge of the Triple door in Seattle back in Oct 04.
He is one of the most coolest musicians! His solo stuff is gear! ....like really groovy!

I'm ripping my shirt off, but only because it's hot in here and I live alone and can do that. But that's cool about Stan Ridgeway. Dave Davies(whom I will marry someday and is the founder/guitarist of the Kinks) talks to his fans too.
New wave: "Wanna be the empress of fashion--Wanna be the president of Moscow--Let's meet and have a baby now."
Oh, and Karmamama, you were right about the Guess Who song.

ROCK LOBSTER!
NEXT:
"I'm going to turn this world inside out I'm going to turn suburbia upside down I'm going to walk the streets, scream and shout I'm going to crawl through the alleyways, being very loud......."

Adey, then there really is no excuse, get buying! But seriously, these boys have amassed a huge catalogue of work and I've hardly touched their early stuff! Andy and Colin have just released a collection of their most recent work in the form of Apple Box: www.xtcidearecords.co.uk/news/news_1.htm. There does seem to be a substantial Kate Bush/XTC crossover and there are quite a few Kate fans on the IdeaRecords forum.

I just knew a Brit would answer that one....and to use her last name as well.
Not many folk here in the states know about Toyah.....shame too She is amazing. Not in the realm of our lovely miss Bush music wise but just as fascinating.
That was always fine with me ...even in Seattle of all places my fav Mod, wave or what ever ....was more personal and MINE MINE MINE!!! hehehe.
That was the same for Japan, ( David Sylvian ) Bill Nelson, Steve Strange, Ultarvox - except for couple hits.
RIGHT!
"so why should I care if somebody let you down hey hey that's nothing new I know just what that can mean hey hey well the way that they talk the talk is all over town hey hey and it's no surprise little girls hurt sometimes......"

Let me Go-Heaven 17. I cheated. I googled the lyrics. But no one else is playing so... classic rock: If I claim to be a wise man, it surely means that I don't know.

I'm ripping my shirt off, ... Just heard this one in Chili's today (had the Montery Chicken / ribs combo) and it made me laugh out loud: Clams on the half-shell, and rollerskates! Rollorskates!

My turn: Run your mouth when I'm not around, it's easy to achieve You cry to weak friends that sympathize Can't you hear the violins playing your song? Those same friends tell me your every word Is there no standard anymore? an early-'90s classic...good luck! blessed be.

RIP Dimebag Derrel, that's WALK by Pantera. I have to thank by brother in law for this one (he knew Dimebag Derrel personally actually)
Another 90's song:
Silence my lady head get girl out of my hair douse hair with gasoline set it light and set it free.
