Here's the last 5000 tracks played on my PC - anyone you're interested in? anyone you like? dislike? Ok, I'm assuming everyone likes artist #1.
And if you have anyone you'd like to recommend please do so.
At the very bottom are the top 10 tracks played.

Some folks have WAY more time than me. Kevan - I agree with 98% of your list. FF you round out the other 2% (How do you find Kate Bush in the midst of all that speed and death metal? )

Some folks have WAY more time than me. Exactly. ;D I listen to my music on an old fashioned thing they used to call a "CD player." Mine even spins three at a time, and the one at home can do five when it works. Just got an internal in my car, and I carry around about 50 CDs and rotate every month or so. But I do listen to A LOT of music, probably at least 12 hours a day. My collection is split between work and home, so I am rarely without something playing. Since I have no way of generating such a list... I'll just agree with Kevan on the Leonard Cohen and Talking Heads mention. I listen to them quite a bit. I didn't see specific titles on your list Kevan... which albums/songs of are you enjoying?

kevan, how did you do that list? It's generated by a Windows Media Player (or Winamp or whatever gadget you use to play music on the PC) plugin that you get from a site called last.fm. Pretty neato I think. If anyone here starts up there let me know and I'll add you to my "Musical Friends" list! (psst GenesisMalachi is a musical friend of mine - though he doesn't use the site much anymore.) Flea-Fly, if you want, pm me with your last.fm username and I'll give you mine) Al: Have you heard 98% of my list?

Leonard - my fav albums (I have em all and like all except for Dear Heather and Death of a Lady's Man) are: Songs - what a brilliant debut album. The sound is so archaic and yet not out-of-date. New Skin for the Old Ceremony - proly his most rock 'n' roll album I'm Your Man - cheesy and brilliant. Talking Heads - my favorite is Fear Of Music. (I'm not sure that's what you're asking about though.)

Most of that list comprises of stuff I've downloaded primarily to hear what they are like. 90% of the time I listen to my CDs on my stereo, and only 5% of my CD collection consists of the type of stuff in that list

The 10,000 mark has been reached. Kate has fallen to number two on the list, at this moment, but remains first in my heart.

Which Morcheeba vocalist do you prefer? Skye, by quite a large margin. I have the latest Morcheeba album, The Antidote, which features the new singer (Daisy? I can't recall at the moment) and while I like the album and the new vocalist it's just not Morcheeba to me... bah they should have started a new band. Al, do you like Morcheeba?
