My musical collaborator has persuaded me to form a blues combo with him. I've been totally immersed in the Blues past & present for the last week. Quite forgotten how much I enjoyed that particular musical form - from Johnson, thru Waters & Wolf, to the modern masters like SRV, Gary Moore and Clapton. Of course I've had way too many life opportunities to have a genuine Blues heart/voice, so at best we'll be derivative. Good fun though, and an excuse to upgrade my guitars. All together now ~ "Woke up this morning.. " ;D

But here are a few whose recordings I have admired: Howlin Wolf Lead Belly SRV Hendrix Robert Cray To name a few Then the recycled British Blues that redefined Rock - and the music that I grew up on: Eric Burden (Animals) Van Morrison Yardbirds Kinks Stones Beatles etc.... Oh btw Good Luck on your endeavor!

Thanks Mat.
It's a band (provided we can find a decent rhythm section). I'll be on 2nd guitar (my collaborator is a brilliant lead guitarist), keyboards, harmonica, vocals and whatever else is required.. (I like to keep busy!)
