Yes indeed. Welcome on-board Roxy. I see that you're someone else who's been a Kate watcher since the start of her career. Great to see you posting

22 years ago to the day, (the summer of 1982 while planting leeks and harvesting carrots on a Bio-Dynamic farm in Forest Row (East Sussex), half of us (students) always knew ALL the lyrics (up to the 82 releases anyway) to every Kate lp...........how time flies. Since we were suppose to get in touch with the 'elemental beings' within this farm organism, I knew that with the help of Kate Bush melodies, oh such melodies, and lyrics like (((((((MOVING))))))), we stood a better chance of hosting these 'elemental beings'. I do remember that a fair number of students insisted that Joan Armatrading songs would work just as well, but we KATE freeks knew better. You should have tasted these vegetables!!! S

You have so much joy to come. Assuming that you do not remember your Brother's LPs, I would suggest that you tackle some smaller peaks, such as The Red Shoes (if you want to go current) or Never for Ever (if you want to go retro). When you have acclimatised, then you will be ready to tackle the Mount Everest that is The Dreaming.. I wish I could tell you the release date of the new album. If anybody knows - and you assume that Kate might - they ain't saying! There's not enough media buzz at the moment; I'm guessing that its a few months away yet. Of course I would love to be proved wrong!

Thankyou for the reply-I don't know whats sparked my interst in kate Bush, (perhpas seens something in the media lately?) but I just love the couple od CD's I have. I also have Moments of Pleasure (as a CD single) and that is just a superb moving song. I would listen to Hounds of Love more but my wife says she finds it scary!! I will try your suggestions but will be straight out to get the new CD when its ready-come on Kate we need more of your fantastic music

im so glad i found this site & look forward to catching up. "hounds of love" is a top 10 desert island disc for me. it's perfect & never grows tired!
i hope to find some information here about new material or projects by kate bush. will i find info here? is she still recording?

Welcome again! Already jumping in, and that's great. We are certainly KB minded, but have many other topics that you might find interesting, musically and otherwise. Your questions are on everyone's lips as of late. Is she recording? Apparently. But for quite some time now and we all await the release of Kate's 8th album. It's all very hush, hush. You'll also find info on other aspects of her career. And if you don't find what you are looking for... don't hesitate to ask!
