I believe August was referring to an old children's toy called Weebles. They looked like buoy shaped kids. The ad campaign stated 'Weebles wooble but they won't fall down' Deebel, are you going to stand for this abuse!

Yeah I know what a weebel is. We have about 10 big heavy statues of them near us, and apparantly (or so I've heard) they were a gift from Spain to us and ;cos something like £500,000 or more. They're just these ugly green things though that look like aliens. If 'TheViolin' comes on he might be able to help me out here, he's from the North East Anyway, I just didn't know what a Deebel was ;D

There right next to the left end of the beach, near the piers. You've gotta see them, they're soooo weird and ugly (erm...yeah that's a good reason for why you've gotta see them), hehe ;D

Deebel. Evidently we are a bunch of speculative loons, eh? Maybe 'nutters' would be the appropriate British equivalent. At least we are imaginative. Welcome aboard! I will enjoy reading posts from an apparent wordsmith such as yourself.

Anyway, welcome Deebel and thanks for posting. I'm afraid you've disappointed us with it's meaning, we were hoping for a really meaningful explaination, hehe Just kidding. So you a big Kate fan?
