Not as critisism but: is there a reason why you choose this simple rhyming scheme? To me these rhyming schemes force you bend sentences in such ways that the true power of expression is often compromised. I know you are able to tackle more complex (and to be honest interesting) schemes..
On the other hand it can be considered a challenge: to use this form and keep the power...
