I hereby decree that there shall be a Challenge issued to all poets of one forum known as the Sensual World of Kate Bush - to create a piece of alliterative poetry. Here's one I prepared earlier. Rise to the challenge, my friends!

Rise to the challenge, my friends! woeful well wishes sad sorry songs frivolous feelings benign bygones THE CRAFT OF KATE
Lingering fingers Mummy's money The breast and the rest And the green grey dunny
The wrist and the tryst The painter painting The jingle-jangles And the warm hand walking
The soldier who's colder The buttons and bows The pick of pips And the mellow wallows
The mother, murderer, Madman, mum She sent him scent The sunshine son
The roams and rambles The rubble and rabble The wiley, windy Coming trouble
The Song of Solomon The inside symmetry Nero and Nicky Om mani padme!
The half of a heaven The bluffing and busting The party parlour The loving and lusting
The rain in reach The pull and the push The soldiers soften And the Pull of the Bush
The barred and the bolted The blister and burn The mess and mistakes The twist and the turn
Moving and glistening, Before tears and years. Live life for love Feeling no fear
Catch the cues Burning bright Drift with dunes Then, put out the light!

Very nice, both of you. My muse might come out of its shell tomorrow and continue with this theme.

The power In dark black suit Stepping forward Iron fist
The baby Child so cute Stepping back Firmly hit
The daughter In well-ironed shirts Holding keys Full of dread
The passion In whirling skirts Dances the night Away instead

The tiger within Tears at the bars Furious screams echo inside my mind Something's wrong What's the point In trying to unearth Many years' worth Of sorrow?

her cheek is as cold as the eternal winter of frost her heart is frozen to us mere mortals her scythe is sharper than the jealousy of your God her purpose is as yet unkown all she does is kill and when you look into her face when your time has come you will hear the waves as they break on the rocks and the vultures circle, waiting Waiting for her

your labyrinths of thought deny her small comfort your quagmires of greed are strangling her mind a half-confession is all she can manage you have silenced her with vines of threats and I am left to hold her now

Watch the raven as she dances her pearls of light which skip the night's edge skip like the flying kite and she steps over the top of the city away from the mother earth to the other side of life towards her fate
(I was trying to see how many song names I could get into one poem. This one I managed to fit 6 into: Pearls Of Light (WT), Kite (KB), Top Of The City (KB), Mother Earth (WT), The Other Side (Sirenia), and Fate (Des'ree))

the shadows on the wall
this is the place called silence there are many here shut down deep in their own cells tied to reruns of the lived experience
here, nothing is denied the shadows slide by followed by their consequences only the beginning is lost and that is why we are here
it is now too late to turn back and we become one with the shadows we each slide by in another's mind and are united in echoes

The lonely tear the darkness trailing into fear I cannot hear her scream through veils of my dream Is this all that is seems?
