Approaching the window, the figure emerges from the shadows. He is covered in rumble, seems to be rattled. He's dragging one foot that appears to be encrusted in stone. He is trying to speak. " Don't do it" " Don't let them do it" he says. The men all gather at the window.
"Who are you?" James demands. "Where is my Father?" the man pleads. "He's got to stop this"
"Stop what?" Callahan says with more urgency as the guy appears to be fading. "Go get a doctor" he continues. "Who is your Father?" "Kohl, his name is..." the stranger is interupted by Scobey, who bolts foward and says. "Save your strength" "This man needs help" He says trying to divert the others.
Before the man can continue, he collapses on the cold cobblestone pavers. Morris jumps to his aid through the open window. He checks for a pulse. After a silent pause he proclaims "He's dead".........

Scobey is horrified. He knows that Kohl has no children. Could it possibly be that someone has already travelled to the future and back. But that cannot be. He was at the site last evening and the final evacation was yet to be completed.
But how else would this stranger know of Kohl's involvement? Scobey asks himself. He suddenly remembers the warning about travelling back to the past. Kohl had said that the pod would be trapped in the rock until it was excavated. That is due to happen tommorrow. My god, does that explain the rock fused to this dead man's foot?! Someone has some explaining to do...

The men all scurry into the alley. Scobey says "Alright, everyone stand aside" as he searches for the man's wallet. "Aren't you going to try and save him?" Morris pleads. "He's dead boy" the politician blurts out cold-heartedly. "Get him inside!" Scobey barks. They respond while Scobey empties the wallet. The others are milling about in Callahan's office, while Scobey examines the contents. My God, this man has identification! A driver's licence?! what could that be? And his date of birth 1923! His last name is indeed Kohl.
This could be trouble for the whole project. Scobey pocket's the currency and the ID, and joins the others inside.......
