On this thread post your pseudo Haiku (3 lines with 5/7/5 syllables respectively). For this exercise they must have a seasonal or monthly (Jan-Dec) theme.

Sleet on top of snow glistening from moonlight beams I slip and fall down. Funny, I was just about to start a haiku thread! ;D

Superbowl Sunday I try to bond with father He wanted a son.I was thinking about the sausage poetry, but sausage is hard to swallow. I don't care what Atkins says--IT'S NOT HEALTHY! UP YOUR ATKINS! (that's what I say now when anyone says the word "carbs" to me...aren't I a posterior orifice?) Oh, man! Did I really set myself up for that obvious a sausage swallowing joke? ;D I will come up with something...

Stay tuned for more creative writing topics such as: *Renka *Renga *Limerick *Villanelle *Cinquain *Diamante *free forms and song writing If any one is not familiar with these forms; there will be threads and explanations and examples on each of these. You may also look these up for a head start.

You may also look these up for a head start. Can anyone add a thread here? There are a couple of songs I'd like to post Also I wouldn't mind moving my creative writing thread here. (tongue twisters) unless you don't want to, or if Lori thinks it belongs on the trivia board.
