Beelzebub is aching in my belly-o My feet are heavy and I'm rooted in my wellios And I want to get away and go From all these mirror windows
I look at eye level, it isn't good enough And then I find it out when I take a good look up There's a hole in the sky with a big eyeball It's calling me:
"Come up and be a kite On a diamond flight! A diamond kite, a diamond kite Ooh, what a diamond!
"A diamond kite On a diamond flight Over the lights, under the moon Over the lights, under the moon Over the moon, over the moon!"
I feel a rush along my body, like a bullet I'm 2-D after a push-and-pull feeling And I want to get back to safe home: I love the homeland dome
I got no limbs, I'm like a feather on the wind Well, I'm not sure if I want to be up here, at all And I'd like to be back on the ground But I don't know how to get down-down-down!
"Come up and be a kite On a diamond flight! A diamond kite, a diamond kite Ooh, what a diamond!
"A diamond kite On a diamond flight Over the lights, under the moon Over the lights, under the moon Over the moon, over the moon!"

"A for I, I say with a sigh, and see her fly"
K"I"TE K"A"TE
I once gave Kate a present of a happy mondays designer Kite I bought from a shop in Covent Garden. (Quite expensive!)I put the above message with it. I know it was a nutty thing to do, but she had inspired me. Hope she liked it.

i know that many fans don't really like this song but i think it's one of kate's best songs because it's very different from the kind of songs that kate did later in her career. this song is so fun, i love it's raggae rhythm and circus feeling so much that i just can't stop hearing it, it's just soooooooooooooooo [glow=BLUE,2,300]PSYCHEDELIC[/glow] i really thinks that kate was inspired by the beatels "For the benefit of mr. kite" when she wrote it because both songs has that circus feeling.

Purely a signiture song containing the type of 'hook' and vocalization that sets Kate Bush apart from anyone, anywhrere, making her truely the most unique singer/ songwriter in the history of the world. The woman is UNIQUE. unique: 1.one, and only 2.without like or equal 3.very unusual 4. Kate Bush

I look at eye level, it isn't good enough And then I find it out when I take a good look up There's a hole in the sky with a big eyeball It's calling me...
The Crack in Space By Philip K. Dick, 1966
Plot Summary: In The Crack in Space, a repairman discovers that a hole in a faulty Jifi-scuttler leads to a parallel world. Jim Briskin, campaigning to be the first black president of the United States, thinks alter-Earth is the solution to the chronic overpopulation that has seventy million people cryogenically frozen; Tito Cravelli, a shadowy private detective, wants to know why Dr Lurton Sands is hiding his mistress on the planet; billionaire mutant George Walt wants to make the empty world all his own. But when the other earth turns out to be inhabited, everything changes...
The "hole in the sky" could refer to a Dickian hallucinatory dimension. Or it could refer to a celestial body... a star, the sun, or the moon...
