I think I only like The Edge. Perhaps I really do have a fear of flying. Have any of you checked out the blog? Do you think I should release this story? Or should I just keep it all a dream? www.newedgeofdreams.com

I had written over a hundred songs. Heathcliff was emerging. I knew that a professional demo put together with Catherine Courage Music would secure a deal with Virgin. Having the character I possess, I jumped the gun. I sent an anonymous message to Sir Richard Branson clearly stating: “Heathcliff will soon be available for signing. Don’t lose him to EMI. This is going to be big. Launch date: Spring 1992.” I could see this story was going to unite the two companies- EMI and Virgin.
Because of the powerful spiritual experience I then had on The Isle of Wight, I failed to show up for Catherine Courage Music. They tried to reach me but I never returned their messages. Heathcliff never came to be.
In 1992 Sir Richard Branson sold Virgin to EMI and as a nice little twist of fate concluded the deal on my birthday Friday 6th March - the date of the full moon in 1977 when Kate Bush wrote Wuthering Heights. The fact that Kate was born on Emily Bronte’s birthday (30th July), compounded the eeriness of this unfolding story.
The co-incidences were continuing… Inspiration is here! I have a publishing date: 08/08/08 Hope you guys enjoy it!

It was the Christmas Party at the speakers club. I was seated next to a guy called Tom. I introduced myself and asked what he did for work. He replied that he was an accountant.
“Do you like that kind of work Tom?”
“No.” he replied, ” I find it very boring.”
“What would you rather do then?” I questioned further.
“I’d like to be a psychologist.”
“Yeah, thats a fascinating subject.”
We proceeded to talk about the mind and its never ending depths.
“You should read a book by Richard Bach called “Illusions, The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah.”
Tom wrote it in his diary. Our president came round selling raffle tickets for charity, we all bought some and the draw was made. The second prize was awarded to Tom and they brought it over and yes you’ve guessed it. It was Richard Bach’s book, Illusions.
“You set this up!” Tom accused me.
“Well I didn’t Tom and even if I did how could I make it so yours would be the second ticket drawn?”
“Thats true.” Tom admitted. “Wow!
“You see the blue feather on the cover, when you get to that part of the story you’ll see why this just happened…”

Do I take the lack of response as a lack of interest here?

No offense, but I suspect others find the whole thing rather tedious after all this time. I'm not bothered either way because it's not my cup of tea anyway.

Thanks for caring enough to respond Paul, I really appreciate it. Remember this though: What you have said is recorded here for all to see, hope you never regret it

Thanks for caring enough to respond Paul, I really appreciate it. If you really appreciated it you would not follow with this caveat: Perhaps some of us have not responded out of caring about not hurting your feelings. You once quoted Yoda as saying 'do or don't do - there us no try.' So either do it or not. In the interim the hyperbole does get tedious. That said I wish you the best my friend.
