There is clearly a value in digging out some older stuff for an airing now and then. Even more so if it generates a fresh round of debate or discussion.
What concerns me about it though, is that it can then stifle debate on new or current topics, as they drop down the thread list. I think some of these newer topics have been cut short recently, despite having plenty of life left in them.
I am wondering if the recent dip in our activity is connected to this?
How would it be, if we set up a new hosted board, where revisited threads could be parked? That way, they wouldn't mask the newer stuff only partially explored. It could be called The Retro Forum, or something else equally stunning...

I see your point. It would be, however, up to Lori, to set that up. I prefer a Hall of Fame board for the best threads every few months to be seperated from the general board. I also think some house cleaning of filler needs to be done. The threads should be able to stand on there own merit though. I manage to read everything. I also respond to all that strikes a chord with me. Lori, you're not losing interest I hope. We seem to see you less and less.
