I'm planning on winning a DVD player from our local radio station, hehe.
I've got till Wednesday to get a list of 26 songs and their artists in by e-mail and I only need 4.
One is just music which I can't explain.
One is a black guy singing (I think) and the lyrics I could pick out seemed to be:
"if you dance to the music,
don't you know you've gotta play to the piper,
ask your mamma
if you dance to the music
don't you know you gotta play to the piper
i spent my money on you every day
you even told me you had a good time
....
you said it's time that you went home
....
now come on girl be nice to me
if you dance to the music don't you know you gotta play to the piper ask your mamma if you dance to the music don't you know you gotta play to the piper"
Or something like that. The ....'s are where I can't make it out at all.
This is "Pay the Piper" by Chairmen of the Board"]
Then there's "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas". I was sure it was Gareth Gates singing, but as the song went on it sounds like a woman (close to Gareth though, hehe)
This one could be Christina Aguilera. She covered it, but without hearing it... Finally, there's "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" and a woman is singing it with a really squeaky voice. If you've ever seen Matilda (the movie) it sounds like the mother from it (Rhea Perlman).
Also without hearing it, it could be several artists. however, The Jackson 5 had the most airplay with their version (a young Michael Jackson on vocals, would sound like a girl )Hope you's can help... I'd be sooooo grateful. Thanks Guys!!!
