No, I haven't read any of the Harry Potter books. I want to though! I've seen the 1st movie and it was pretty good, so I'll probably start with the 2nd book! Talking of books, I started reading "Wuthering Heights" yesterday, inspired by Kate of course, and it's pretty good so far! I don't think it's as exciting as Harry Potter tho...

You should read the Harry Potter books and yeah... start from the 2nd book but in rank order I'd say the 3rd one's the best, followed by the 4th, then the 1st, then the 2nd. I've JUST started the 5th one tonight. Onto the 2nd chapter just though, it's dead thick. I own 'Wuthering Height'. I tried to read it but didn't understand it. I watched the film since then though so maybe the book'll be easier to understand. I'll try again after 'The Order of the Pheonix'

Lori, I queued last night at twelve in order to get a copy for my daughter. She loves it. I`m yet to read it. Too much other stuff to read at the moment.

Lori - I saw how thick the new one is - I saw a girl on the news who, at midday yesterday, had read over 500 pages of it - and she looked as though she hadn't slept a wink all night! I shall have a go at the 2nd Potter book after I finish "WH". I agree, it is a little hard just because of the style in which it's written, but I'm on chapter 7 and it's definitely becaome more addictive! MT - that's what I call a devoted father! ;D Were there lots of people queuing with you?

About 500 people! Many of them were buying several copies. I think for the first half an hour of being on sale they must have sold well over a thousand copies at our shop alone!

Please no one spoil any part of the book in here if you hear of anything. As a main character dies in it but no-one knew who. But people will know now and I don't want it spoilt for me Apparantly 30,000 copies were sold in the first hour from midnight in all the Asda's. Have you read any of the HP's by the way MT?
