Who was the guest host on 'Saturday Night Live' that invited Kate Bush to perform her only gig in the USA? It was Eric Idle.

You are quite correct, Sheila. She performed "Them Heavy People" and "The Man With the Child in his Eyes".....Wait a minute....have I already answered this? Anyway, Paul Schaffer (Music Director for SNL then and "The Late Show" with Dave Letterman) remarked to the effect: that it was the strangest moment with a performer he could remember. I believe Kate was lounging on his piano? Sounds about right.

Wow, I don't think I ever read this post! Aww, how cute, Sheila's first post. ;D That's so weird! Zan, Sto, and myself all brought up our old first threads at the same time! Yet no one noticed mine. That's okay. I understand. ( ) I'm glad you read my posts at all. Heck, you all put up with 4--what is it? 460 of them? How is it I could've posted as a guest on the trivia board? Isn't that only available on Cathy's Window?

I've noticed on alot of the more ancient posts that there are a lot of guests. Maybe then Lori decided to let anyone post anywhere before the members started joining up.?

You might be right, Paul, about being leniant with guests. Thanks for even reading this thread, Paul, no one else seems to care enough to even jump in at all.
