I don't know why I like this song so much. My vote goes to "Big stripey lie".

''And So Is Love'' She sounds beautiful singing it. It also carries an emotional payload.

Rubberband Girl wins, but You're The One and Moments of Pleasure are up there...
And so too is So Is Love. :-)

"The Song of Solomon" for me, it's my favourite Kate song. The "I'll do it for you..." is musical bliss for me.
Closely followed by the beautifully painful "You're The One" and the fiery and irresistable "Lily".

Must catch up on new poll! I nearly creamed the first time I heard the title track! Then again I've always been turned on by strange things.

I chose Rubberband Girl. I was a really difficult decision, since many of these are some of my favorite songs - You're The One, And So Is Love, Big Stripey Lie... as so on. Rubberband Girl, as frivolous as it is, has become cathartic for me. Makes me feel better just to hear it. When I am having trouble, to hear that first line "So those trees, bend in the wind, I feel they have a lot more sense than me, you see I try to resist..." reminds me of what I need to be and how to get by. I wanna be a rubberband girl, a rubberband girl me. But, Big Stripey Lie may hold one of my top favorite lines in a Kate song.

I nearly went for Moments of Pleasure, but settled on the mighty Song of Solomon.

I don't know why I picked Why Should I Love You? but I did, it's something about the corus (and yes i know i spelled it wrong, but say it fanatically and you'll understand why).

But, Big Stripey Lie may hold one of my top favorite lines in a Kate song. " You've got wild animals loose in here" ? I can't believe You're the One hasn't got a vote. What an injustice - it must be somebody's favourite. If I could choose again, I'd vote for this one. The song has really gotten under my skin in the last few weeks..

I don't know why I like this song so much. My vote goes to "Big stripey lie". Its my favorite too. And like you I dont really know why. It sounds very dramatic and the words are so beautifully pronounced. But that is the case with al lot of other songs as well. Still, eventhough TRS is not my favourite album, Big stripey lie is definitely one of my favourite songs.
