I discovered the Spaghetti Western Orchestra, while watching a BBC proms show back in August. I was knocked out and watched the performance from start to finish. The Orchestra consists of 5 brilliant musicians from Australia, who play the Spaghetti Western music and themes written by Ennio Morricone. They use dozens of instruments - some home made, some everyday items pressed into service - in their uncanny realisations of the Films music soundtracks and sound effects. And it's all done with a great theatrical style of presentation that is both reminiscent of the films and hysterically funny at the same time. A typical show will feature music from "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", "A Fistful of Dollars", "For a Few Dollars More", "2 Mules for Sister Sara", "Once Upon a Time in the West" and more. Going to see them live in March next year - can't wait! Here's a link: www.spaghettiwesternorchestra.com/Invest 10 minutes watching a few clips - trust me, you'll be glad you did..
