Hoping to have recovered sufficiently in the next few months to enjoy some gigs we have tickets for..
Steeley Dan in June - not the tour with Michael McDonald singing as enjoyed by Al last year. But with SD I just know that we won't be disappointed.
Blackmore's Night - a rare english tour. The Renaissance rocker, his lovely partner and their band are doing big busines in Europe, particularly in Germany, both East and West..
Deep Purple/Styx/Thin LIzzy. Wanted to see Styx again and I'll never turn a chance to see Purple. Lizzy were added to a bill that may yet increase again.
All old dinosaurs I note. Must make an effort to see something more contemporary next year..

I really want to see the George Michael tour, but apparently there's no info on it yet for the USA. As for the Police and Genesis, I don't know, they're pretty damn expensive for about 2 hours of entertainment. I was also thinking about Loreena McKennitt, but I'm not thrilled with the venue for the cost. The money would probably be better spent buying the special DVD and CD set in the fall. But the jury is still out on these. Of course, hubby has his two cents (and few hundred dollars) say in it as well.

I'm going to see Tori in London this summer. I got up really early when the tickets went on sale and I managed to get seats on the third row from the front! It's going to be amazing. Max

I was lucky enough to see Bjork live for my first time in July past. She played at one of these ever more popular boutique festivals called The Electric Picnic here in Ireland. Her new recording is not her best but fairly good none the less. My attention had been drawn to Anthony and the Johnstons from this forum and she does a beutiful duet with him on her latest release. She was absolutely awesome live. I also got to see The Police on their come back tour. I was very impressed by their ability to play tracks together that they had not played in an age. It was as if they had never split up such was the performance. Next up for me is The Cure. I have a trip planned with some mates to see them play in Berlin next February. It will my 8th time to see The Cure. Ive always thought of them to be probably the best live band that you could be lucky enough to see live hence the eight concerts. They are also bringing out new music in early 08. Their thirteenth studio album. Lastly I gotta go and see Radiohead now that they have announced a touring schedule. Im not sure where or when yet but it will be done. Their new download only release is exceptional for anyone who may not have heard. Its called IN RAINBOWS and I would highly recommend it. Any else get to see anyone interesting in 07 or anyone with any early plans for 08?

The live gig was awesome, would love to see her again further on in her tour, she keeps changing the sounds, beats and stuff all the time! And the dull flame of desire is so beautiful totally got me into Antony! Antony and the johnsons are releasing a new album in 2008 so I hope they will tour as well! I also went to Nelly Furtado, that was a fun concert, of course not the most highstanding quality! I also went to Diana Ross that was really cool! Must have seen someone else but I can't remember For the coming year I have tickets for Evita the musical, Celine Dion (cheesy right haha) and Anouk (a very big performer in holland, maybe some of you have heard her song 'good god' on perez's website!)
