I am hyperventilating. I came across this site as I was idly searching for some logical reason why Happy Rhodes sometimes sounds SO much like Kate. I gave up long ago on ever hearing a new Kate Bush album. I had accepted, through a long and painful grieving process, that she was retired. Now I've found this place where there are people actually saying that a new album HAS BEEN RECORDED??!!! Oh no. Now I'm in tears. Is this true!? If this is a cruel hoax I will find you, tie you down and force you to listen to "I Wanna Be Kate" all the way through, at least twice.

Anna, I'm so sorry I've taken so long getting back to you. Thank you for joining us. Yes it's true, the new album is yet to be confirmed (title or release date) but there are leaks of who some of the collaborators are (Karn, Palmer, Erskine etc) and what at least one of the song's working title is ('How to be invisible') Maybe 'Spring' of next year? I hope before the end of the year though. We're all excited as well. Please visit and comment often. We are a growing family here.

No problem, altruest. Thanks for the note. Whether it's this year or next doesn't really matter. The thing is, the music is there, and chances are someday I can hear it. It's like the promise of an afterlife. I don't have to go right now, but it's awfully nice to know there's a destination.

Oh, my. I'm touched that you guys have thought of me, and only slightly creeped out. ;D I guess Lori was sort of right; I don't come around because there seems to be no further news, and I spend all my message board time elsewhere (a support group...no need to hear the grisly details...they aren't as fabulous as you are, but they give me what I need)....so yes I suppose I had been using you shamelessly. I do apologize. I will try to check in a bit more frequently, because I do appreciate from the bottom of my Kate-loving heart what you are doing, and I do want to be a part of it. All the love, ~Anna

Creepy that you happened to come back today too What made you pop in? Do you pop in all the time without posting? Or did you just receive 'vibes' that we were talking about you

LOL I receive "vibes" in the form of an automatic email whenever there's a reply to a thread I've posted to. So, is there any news about the new album?? I've scanned the threads but don't see anything promising.

Ahh, I didn't think the 'email me whenever someone replies' option was ever used ;D Nothing on a release date or anything. There's been some bits and bobs about the album though which you can read about in the news section of our Kate website at: www.geocities.com/etherealworldofkatebush

ah! Lori, thank you! Very nice site. Some lovely photos of Kate that I had never seen. I also discovered that my TKI CD cover is not the only one! Now I have to buy another copy to get that lovely oriental image. Does it remind anyone else of Heart's Dog and Butterfly? (another of my all time favorite albums)

Does it remind anyone else of Heart's Dog and Butterfly? (another of my all time favorite albums) Me too! Both the cover and the fave part. Another Heart fan? I wonder if they had even seen the Kate cover. Welcome by the way Anna. And, I use the email notification every time Lori. And I still can't keep track of the posts.

I'm afraid I've never heard of the Heart's Dog & Butterfly. And I wasn't aware that the email notification feature was so popular. Two out of three use it here

Oh, my. I'm trying to restrain myself, I really am. You must understand that your telling me you don't know Dog & Butterfly is like hearing someone whose musical tastes you respect say they've never heard of Kate. You feel a responsibility at oncel, to rectify the situation, right? First of all, precious lady, tell me whether you are acquainted with the female rock legends Nancy and Ann Wilson and their legendary band, Heart at all, or whether you simply haven't heard that particular album, and we'll go from there.
