Adey!......now I'm worried about your judgement. Especially "Under the Ivy" It's more personal and poignant than "Dream of Sheep" (opinion of course I was thinking the exact same thing.

I'm presuming that you don't have the This Woman's Work box set then? No! It's far too expensive for me.

Al & Sheila, you may of course question my judgement! Under the Ivy is a track I really do love, more so than Still Waiting. It's just the nature of this excercise. Who's to say whats better, rump steak or sirloin?

Hey Xan, I do like that Gabriel/Bush Don't Give Up avatar you've got going there. I see you've added to your signature in it's honour.
I do notice these things; I should get out more..

Also, and this is just generally and not just to you Zan, I think if it's posted earlier, people tend to read it before posting their own choices and tend to reply more. But I understand sometimes people want to think about it for a while before deciding, which is great. Anyway Zan I *did* read the last post you made but by that time it was time to post this week's round. So as Sheila says, don't take it personally, and thanks for your contribution to this board

Hey Xan, I do like that Gabriel/Bush Don't Give Up avatar you've got going there. I see you've added to your signature in it's honour. I do notice these things; I should get out more.. Thanks so much for noticing Adey. I don't update very much, actually, only the once with the animated avatar in the last year... now this. Maybe I should have waited for the one year anniversary - I only really remember that since it was also my wedding anniversary. It was difficult to get that picture up there, but I really wanted that image. It's also the cover of a compilation I've been working on. On many levels, it's means a great deal to me. I also associate myself with the others quotes/images that I wasn't quite ready to change them completely... so I just added. You didn't? But what about the whole Peter Gabriel discussion that branched out of your choices? Did it? Was it that discussion? Sorry. I guess I was thinking about the other b-sides/rareties we didn't discuss. I really thought about it, being that there were so many. It was so hard to choose for all the reasons I mentioned, that I wanted to share my thoughts. I felt maybe some of you had a similar problem chosing. I didn't pick some as the top 5 because I didn't feel that they had a chance after reading you're choices, but they deserved a mention. No, Kate gives us Mince pies. ;D Sorry Zan, don't take it personally. I think we tend to only respond in here if we disagree. Maybe everyone agrees with you. Could be, Shee. I'll try to think about it that way, and not that you're all bored with my long-winded act. So as Sheila says, don't take it personally, and thanks for your contribution to this board Thanks Sto. I knew you probably read it... I was just feeling a little weird. No worries.

Bloke walks into a butcher's and says to the butcher "I bet you £50 that you can't reach the meat on that top shelf". The butcher ponders this for awhile until declining the challenge saying: "Sorry, the Steaks are too high."
