Okay, I'll jump in ;D I vote for Between a Man and a Woman and Reaching Out. I like them, but Reaching out took forever for me to warm up to it, and I think BAMAAW is one of her most boring songs of all time, but still better than almost everything else by any other artist. ---Sheila

Thank you Sheila. Your input is so needed here. I agree that Ms Bush sets very high standards. It's hard for another artist to match any of her efforts. While we might not fully appretiate everything she does; there's no denying the quality of the performances.

Ah, thanks so much Sheila - you've saved us! It's funny how a lot of people say "Reaching Out" took a lot of time to warm on them - I saw it as one of the best songs on the album after only 2 listens! That last line sends shivers down my spine even today ("Reaching out for mama") and it has extra meaning now that Kate's mum passed away. I wonder, if she ever did do a live tour again, if she would sing it now? Indeed, Kate's standards are so high that ever the 'weaker' tracks are groundbreaking. As we've found out through this, for everyone who finds a Kate track weak, there's someone else who adores it!
