I voted for under ice, I just love the way the story is told.

They are all so wonderful but my vote had to go to The Morning Fog because I think it sounds so... amazing and I love singing along with it.

This is really hard. I'm not really a huge fan of this album, but my three favourite songs from it are pretty much tied.
I'm going to have to go with Hello Earth- it's so beautiful.

So how do you choose from the worlds best album ever? Hounds of Love changed my life! I chose Running Up That Hill, but I agree with other people....that choice could change from day to day....Close second:And Dream of Sheep....

Welcome, indiasdad. Please make yourself at home. This is an incredibly question, isn't it? I don't know if I could choose... unless we're allowed say the entire Ninth Wave, I suppose. That's probably cheating, though.

Thanks,rosabelbelieve...you all have been very welcoming to this new member. Has anyone else noticed (and how could you not) that no matter how many times you listen to Hounds of Love, you can always hear something that you never noticed before? My listenings must number in the hundreds, and sometimes I will catch something that I never heard before...it might be an odd sound or whisper, something-this is why it's my favorite of all time.

Yes... For me, this is often the mark of truly exceptional music. No matter how many times you listen to it, how many things you figure out about it, there is a core of mystery and newness that never is depleted. This happens, for me, with sounds in Kate's work, but even more so with emotions and layers of ideas and meanings.

In this case it's really hard to choose one, but because of my personal situation right now I've taken "The morning fog" as mine, and I'm specially fond of this song.
