Please explain your answer. Do you like the diversity here? Or are there too many non-Kate topics. What would make this forum better for you?

Although I see the validity of this poll, there is no possible way it could ever be accurate because the people that don't post (which is most members) won't post on this poll either. I do hope this poll will generate some feedback from people who are at least thinking of posting.

I think it's great that it's not all Kate news. I think if all we talked about was Kate all the time, people would soon get bored of it/sick of her... and that wouldn't be the point. It's also good that the non-Kate topics are interesting, informative and often include debates, etc. It makes me think a lot more and really sets cogs turning ;D

Hey good idea for a poll Al! As for the off-Kate-topics, this forum would suck without them in my opinnion. I mean, clearly, we're all attracted here because of Kate, but that's not all we have to comment on nor is it all we ever talk about. Ii's good to hear everyones thought on all the other random things we choose to discuss

I do hope this poll will generate some feedback from people who are at least thinking of posting. I think some people might take the poll and then just not comment, if they don't ever post. e.g. there are currently 10 guests and 4 members online. I KNOW some of them never post.

Also this is one of our busiest days ever. 50 plus posts and the evening is young. ;D

I try to read daily. But sometimes can't. I love the variety here. If you can't find something interesting here, you're just not looking far enough.

Good one Sven, I think we have the most intelligent, informed and articulate group on the web. If I were Kate I'd love to read from here. Maybe she does. If I had the time I'd read and post everyday. Unfortunately I'm promoting a design and print business by day and writing my book by night. Fitting in posts is very difficult.

I went for the top option.
On average I spend around 5hrs a day on this forum, most of which are spent reading rather than posting, but I have definitely become more active than when I first joined. Although I tend not to reply in the more philosphical postings as this really isn't my forte.

I think we have the most intelligent, informed and articulate group on the web. I have to agree there - I don't see the kind of discussion that we have here on any other forum on the 'net (unless it's specifically created for that, like general debating wensites etc...). It makes me glad to be a part of it, even if I can't contribute to everything! I try to read and post every day, if I don't have too much homework, although I don't post as often as Al', Lori, NEO etc. who are the top posters!

Well, I try to post something everyday, but sometimes it just doesn't work out that way (being at work I'll never have more than a few minutes at a time). Personally, I think that it's the way Kate career is discussed here, and the evolution of our interests - either because of Kate or what led us to her. It's all connected... What keeps me interested... only the personality of the membership. I have joined other forums, and if the direction goes south, I'm not visiting anymore. The MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR is our behavior. Our welcoming of others contributions and IMPORTANT, THOUGHTFUL posts. There is always a time for fun and trivia to keep things light, but a harmonious balance has to be maintained, otherwise this will turn into some of the others. And no room here for KATE-MONGERS. Everyone here loves her music equally and has great knowledge of and respect for her career. There shouldn't be any intimidation on this forum. Then I think we can thrive and prosper. ;D

Agreed. With the increased activity here. (well over 100 posts today I bet) Members will have to tune in often to keep up. So you guys hunt and dig up old threads that interest you. I'd place our variety of topics against any other board out there - of any kind. Don't forget the 'search' function on the toolbar. You can go to the last (up to 200 posts) and scroll from oldest to newest of the day. If you're not here everyday, that's a good way to catch up.

Returning to you original request, I read and post here. For me it's still a novelty to be surrounded by people interested in an artist I admire more than any other.
I read because I've learned a lot already from the members and want to continue to do so.
I post because I've got a lot to say about KB, and now actually have an audience (slightly!) interested in what I have to say about her!
I stay, because the members are generous, articulate, knowledgable and often great fun.
Thanks everyone
