So it seems we're stumped again!
I searched everywhere and can't find "sad" anywhere.
Here's where we are currently:
"There's a man behind those eyes
I catch him WHEN he laid eyes on her,
He got the feeling they had met BEFORE the music started
When you walked up to ME emotionally.
It's nearly killing me, but what a lovely FEELING!
No fear, of leaving their bodies here.
And went to a ROOM, she catches them calling a la lune.
At NIGHT among the sailors was a fearful, flying row
They tumbled from their hammocks for their SLEEP
and they say they take me home
Like poppies, heavy WITH my ego in my gut,
My babbling mouth would wash it UP
on the angel's shoulders
I don't know if I'm closer to HEAVEN is Hell--
Some say that Hell is heaven--I must admit,
sometimes I FEEL your tongue teasing and RECEIVING
---receiving---receiving----receiving...
You won't HEAR him before I go to sleep
And focus on the DAY we took our own mystery tour
And got completely lost
somewhere up IN the early hours
leaving me here LIKE the snow.
Come to cover the lovers, but don't you WAKE up, love!
We should make the night, but see your little light's ALIVE
the territorial WAR is over,
the air-raid shelters are blooming clover,
flapping umbrellas FILL your head with lead
And I'm coming for you
when IT'S a plank in me EYE level,
it isn't good ENOUGH--
Life is SAD..."
Someone want to put our lyrics to music out there. It's the most difficult to try to make some sense out of the phrasing, but it's fun!
Since it seems we've stalled again, may I be allowed to use:
"... SADly we mourned and sighed,
Whilst in evening twilight
Two swans glide and fly..."
Lord of the Reedy River, B-Side of Sat In Your Lap
But if anyone has found "sad" that's great.
